Construction Project Delivery and Project Management of new build commercial premises generally, using a number of procurement routes including Design and Build and Construction Management. Commissions include the implementation and installation of specialist office and equipment fit-out.
The NOS project near Bath was particularly rewarding; the challenge being to construct a substantial extension to the Charity’s Headquarters and Information Centre, including complete refurbishment of all the existing internal spaces, whilst the NOS and all its staff remained on-site and fully operational throughout the entire project.
The existing single-storey accommodation was blended with a new contemporary two-storey office extension, with glazed curtain walling and cedar cladding under a natural sedum roof. Other works included extensive re-modelling of the car-parking and re-landscaping of the grounds, including the creation of a remembrance garden.
In 2003, Projec-Technique also converted a 300 year old Grade 2 Listed mill in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty into their own office, and in the process won an award for ‘Building Restoration Project of the Year’ from the District Council.
